Few days of Helsinki made me think that I could add it to my 'habitable Finland list.' Shopping opportunities were great, couple of sights recognized. Summery musts were of course the market place and beach.

My little sister has a sheep farm. She grows organic lamb meat. She has lots of other animals, too, so our daughter is totally exited to help with everything. The life here is a dream for a city kid... In spite of the unbelievable amount of work at the farm, my sister had planted really cute summer flowers, too. In the evenings we have been talking about our work in the local churches. It has been a nice and relaxing week.
We drove several hundreds of kilometers to the North. The roads got empty. The scenery was beautiful. This summer we have had a chance to see many friends.

Unohdin kertoa, etta reissussa kuvaan ja bloggaan kasilaukkuun sopivalla tabletilla, joten kuvien laatu on hiukan olematon juttujen laadusta puhumattakaan... Kunhan keksisin viela pisteet a ja o kirjaimiin. No, pysynette matkassa mukana ilman niita pisteitakin.
Few more photos from Turku. There are couple of nice ships floating at the river as cafe's. And beatiful old buildings. My little brother and his wife are great company. Guess how much we have eaten... Oh, I forgot to tell that the photos are made with the tablet so the quality has suffers quite a bit. Being not so techy person I have encoutered few minor challenges in trying to edit the posts, too. Anyway, this way you can at least get some climpses to this pretty country of mine. ;)
There is only one town in Finland where I could ever imagine to live in. It's Turku, the oldest town in the country. The kids enjoy a cousin retreat with the grandparents at the cottage, so we took off to see as I said the only truly habitable town nearby. I'm kidding of course. All the other Finns love other places here, too. Five million against one is not a convincing score, so believe what you like, but if you ever visit Finland, make sure you don't miss Turku. No, the tourism office did not pay me anything for this posting.
