Mies ja ystävien lapset osallistuivat paikalliseen juoksukilpailuun sunnuntaina. Oli lähemmäs 30 astetta lämmintä ja hiukan ukkosta ilmassa. Aika paljon oli kuitenkin väkeä liikeellä. Sekä aikuisille, että lapsille oli muutama eri mittainen lenkki tarjolla. Lapset juoksivat 500m ja tulivatkin maaliin ihan ensimmäisten joukossa! Mies juoksi 14km osuuden. Se koostui kahdesta kierroksesta, joten me sitten hurrasimme kovasti puolivälissä jätskin syömisen merkeissä. Parin viikon kuluttua on kuulema seuraava kisa jossakin tässä lähistöllä, joten ei kun tuloksia kohentamaan... :-) Illalla vielä grillailtiin ja rentoiltiin yhdessä parvekkeella aurinosta nauttien, joten oli oikein kesäisen tuntuinen sunnuntai.

My husband and the kids of our friends participated in a local jogging competition on Sunday. It was nearly 30 Celsius degrees warm! There were quite a lot of people coming together to enjoy running or watching others run. Both the kids and the adults could choose from few different distances. The boys run 500m and were among the first ones to get to the finish! My husband run 14km. It was made up of two rounds, so we were eating ice cream and cheering him as he passed by. There will be another local competition in a couple of weeks, that will be an opportunity to improve the results... :-) Later we still had some BBQ together and relaxed at the terrace enjoying the evening sun. It totally felt like the summer has begun!
